Meeting Howard Jeeter in Kid in the Red Jacket changed how I think about others because I am wondering, what if they are going through a rough time? Be extra caring and kind just in case they are having wonderful or a horrible day make it a better one. I learned this from Molly having her parents divorced and Howard always talked to her in a very rude tone. Molly Vera Thompson changed how I think because she is an imaginative little girl so that changed how I think about my little cousins because they can get annoying, but now that I’ve read this book I understand, they imagine a lot and I try to be more thoughtful. Kid in the Red Jacket also changed my heart because I used to not really care about my brothers day and now most days I ask him how his day was. This book changed me as a human because I try to walk around with a smile on my face, it was Molly Vera Thompson who showed me that.
